Tax refund
You can get a refund of the VAT on goods purchased in stores affiliated with PIE VAT, Global Blue or Planet if you reside outside Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.

If you have made purchases in affiliated stores in Norway and want to get TAX, you can do this through Global Blue, PIE VAT and Planet
Here’s how it works:
- Purchase goods for over 315 NOK in an affiliated store.
- You are required to bring your Passport or ID card, and flight ticket.
- When making your purchase, request that the store initiates the VAT refund for
you. - Be sure not to pack your purchased goods in your checked-in luggage before it
has been physically validated at one of the TAX Refund counters of either PIE VAT, Global Blue or Planet. - Once the purchase has been validated and approved, the refund will be transferred to your credit card.
Important to remember:
- Goods must be exported within 30 days of purchase date.
- Your ticket, passport and items will be checked before you receive a verification stamp.
- Refund may take up to a few weeks to appear in your account.
